Message from the President:
The HCBF is a 501 (C)3 corporation that was organized by a group of Williamson County, Texas citizens, led by Connie A. Miller, Sr., a local Non-fiction writer, author and historian. HCBF works with area public libraries, schools and literary programs for children and adults for the purpose of enhancing the literacy of the residents in the Williamson County, Texas area. The HCBF recognizes area writers, authors and their published literary works and small area publishing companies.
The first annual Hill Country Book Festival will be held on October 11, 2008, at the Georgetown, Texas Public Library. The festival will feature guest authors and speakers, workshops, publishers, editors and children’s activities. Thirty-one area authors will be present to showcase and sell their books.
